Welcome to the Spooktober Challenge! We are a multi-fandom Halloween challenge mostly based on fanfic. However, we absolutely welcome original writing, and fanart, too! We have no word count, no due date, and no set amount of prompts you have to complete. We aim to be a low-stress, no anxiety kind of challenge. If you have questions, don't be afraid to ask!

Well, October is officially over, and with that, so is Spooktober. Our AO3 collection will remain open indefinitely, though, so if you write something with one of 2019's prompts, feel free to add it to the collection. We loved seeing all your phenomenal work this past month!!

Next year, we hope you'll come back, and maybe bring some friends to participate, too! We'll have new prompts, and a new AO3 collection next October.

See you then!

Thank you for this challenge! It really helped me get back into writing.

(I still have a couple of fills that I need to polish off over the next day or so, so I especially appreciate keeping the AO3 collection open)
